2022 Dr. George Bibawi Award for Excellence in Teaching

It is with pleasure to let you know that the recipient for the 2022 Dr. George Bibawi Award for Excellence in Teaching has been decided for this year. This award was created to honour the tremendous contributions to anesthesia teaching provided by Dr. Bibawi and it is awarded annually to a clinical anesthesia teacher at the Niagara Regional Campus who best exemplifies excellence in teaching in anesthesia. Faculty are nominated by their peers for this award, and we had several nominees who have been congratulated on their nomination and thanked for their contributions to the department.

Over his career at Niagara Health, Dr. Pandey has been a consistent and valuable contributor to the advancement of medical education. He has participated in the teaching of Medical Students and Residents with consistently high evaluations by his learners. His colleagues appreciate the work he does to support the department and recognize that throughout his long career, he has happily taught countless medical students and residents. His OR is always open to learners. Dr. Pandey has been nominated for this award in previous years and is an outstanding recipient this year.
