Person of The Month – July 2023: Katherine Bocus
Our July 2023 ‘Person of the Month’ feature is Katherine Bocus!
Katherine is a McMaster University alumnus and is joining us as our new Senior Education Program Associate for the Critical Care Medicine (CCM) Residency Program. Her role at the Department of Anesthesia is responsible for the success and support encompassing the administrative functions for the CCM program.
With Canadian Residency Matching System (CaRMS) applications approaching in the fall, the CCM program’s objective is to ensure that prospective trainees from various base specialties like Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, and Cardiac Surgery will be matched with spots in the program. Creating this diversity amongst learners is an important focus for the CCM program as it allows the program to flourish and ultimately, benefit society with exceptionally trained patient-centered care and critical care physician specialists.
