Recognition of Achievement – Dr. Lehana Thabane

The Department of Anesthesia would like to congratulate Dr. Lehana Thabane for being elected as a member of The Royal Society of Canada!

Dr. Thabane holds an associate appointment with the Department of Anesthesia and has made numerous valuable contributions to the department through his work with our research team through St. Joseph’s Hospital Biostatistics Unit.

In addition, Dr. Thabane is a professor of biostatistics in the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact, as well as an associate member within other Faculty of Health Sciences departments such as Pediatrics, Medicine, Family Medicine, Surgery, Psychiatry and Neurosciences, and School of Nursing, and School of Rehabilitation Sciences at McMaster University.
